Merino wool is the finest sheep’s wool quality due to its fineness and softness. It is characterized by special uniformity, elasticity and lightness. In contrast to conventional wool, merino wool is particularly soft and ensures an ideal microclimate due to particularly good temperature regulation. It warms and is at the same time air-permeable and breathable.

We use wool from certified organic animal husbandry. This standard guarantees species-appropriate animal husbandry and feeding as well as the renunciation of fattening aids and pesticides. Out of love for animals, we use mulesing-free wool. Mulesing is a common practice in Australia where lambs undergo a painful procedure without anesthesia to prevent parasite infestation. This is guaranteed with the RWS standard.
