GOTS
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is a textile seal that has defined a controllable standard regarding social and ecological responsibility in textile production since 2008. Items with GOTS certification ensure a particularly high environmentally friendly standard for our clothing and textiles - from the extraction of raw textile fibers to dyeing and manufacturing, trust and safety are transparently reflected along the entire textile production chain.
Another important feature is compliance with minimum standards of social aspects along the entire textile chain. Fair wages and protection of workers, no forced or child labor, no mistreatment or discrimination are central components of the examination. Green button
The Green Button 2.0 sets binding requirements to protect people and the environment in the textile production process. A total of 46 demanding social and environmental criteria must be adhered to - from A for wastewater limits to K for ban on child labor to Z for ban on forced labor. The Green Button is the first state seal to combine requirements for the product and the company. Are there effective complaint mechanisms in the production facilities? Are grievances actually being addressed? The state sets the criteria and conditions for the Green Button seal - this creates clarity and trust. PETA-Approved VEGAN
“People for Ethical Treatment of Animals”, or PETA for short, is the name of the largest global animal protection organization, which today has more than six million members and supporters. The “PETA-Approved Vegan” logo was developed to make conscious consumption easier and to identify animal-free products easily and clearly. In plain language, this means: if you see this seal, you can be sure that no animal had to suffer for this item and that it is 100% vegan. This greatly simplifies the purchasing decision for ethically motivated people.
